"I didn't expect to grow here. But I did, and I still am."
— Ivette, Wichita

Overview

Some say Housekeeper, we say Comfort Creator. In addition to incredibly high standards for establishing welcoming, organized guest rooms and community spaces, the Comfort Creator ensures that every guest has a highly personalized experience fueled by superior customer care. If you believe in holding doors, good morning smiles, and going the extra mile because it simply makes the day better and brighter, we’re kindred spirits.

If you are flexible, independent, motivated, enjoy laughing at work, and inspired by the sunrise (that’s our way of saying no two days are the same), you may be our perfect match.

At KAJ, we promise to deliver engaged leadership, a family-friendly environment, opportunities for growth, and colleagues who feel like lifelong friends. Our benefits include competitive wages, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, long-term disability, flexible spending plan, reliance standard 3-in-1 value package, and 401(k).

A Typical Day as a Comfort Creator

We strive to provide the ultimate experience for every guest in our care—whether individual business travelers, friends on an overdue getaway, or families navigating a road trip. Our guests deserve a “yes and” experience:

  • Bathroom, Bed Standard, General Room, and Hallway Care. Everything clean, tidy, and replenished every day. No exceptions, and no worries. You’ll receive hands-on training, orientation of all spaces, and a mentor colleague to guide you in your earliest days with us. You’ll also use our KAJ Comfort Creator Checklist which takes the guesswork out of the details, with ample time to deliver plenty of “yes and” moments to our guests.
  • Restocking Comfort Creator Carts Most everything you need to provide exemplary service to our guests is available on four wheels. Each day, you’ll replenish what you used from the cart to ensure your teammates are prepped and ready for the following day. Speaking of teammates...
  • A Team of Comfort Creators One of the best parts about this role is working with colleagues who share your passion, drive, and commitment to service. You will be asked to assist other Comfort Creators throughout the day, and together, make a lasting impression with the guests about the space, the people, and their experience.
  • Helpful, with a Side of Hustle There’s never a dull moment in this role, as you are on your feet and moving most of the time. You’ll log steps and maintain your physical health by actively moving up to eight hours per day and sometimes lifting up to 40 pounds. You and your teammates will consistently support each other to lend a hand as needed to ensure we’re delivering the KAJ experience every day, with every guest.

KAJ is for day makers, time takers, and big picture see-ers. By fostering a sense of family, comfort, and ritual, we’re inspiring our guests to achieve whatever they face when they leave our lobbies. KAJ communities are dynamic and built for people who thrive on delivering great experiences. While KAJ is a revenues and reviews-based business, we’re more into relationships. People over all else. We’re a yes and-type organization, indefinitely.
