RALSTON, Neb. – The past couple of months have been difficult for Crystal. The mother of two recently lost her job.
"They basically let me go and said I could apply again when COVID-19 was over with," Crystal said. Shortly after being let go, a bad relationship ended and she was left with place for her and her girls to call home.
"Most of thoughts have been about my two little girls. My girls are my world so I have to find something for them," Crystal said.
Crystal turned to a nonprofit that's been offering her support since she aged out of the foster care system. And she wasn't alone.
